Be Bear Aware

Finally, somebody gets it. It's very important to be aware of Bears and have food storage readily available for when he gets hungry.

We just got back from Yellowstone and it was a pretty action packed adventure. This was the first time I'd been up there so early in the year.  That added to the insane amounts of precipitation that this area's been getting this year made for a very soggy/snowy yellowstone.  The lower elevation areas were actually flooded. Bears is very pensive in the picture below because what appears to be a lake with trees growing out of it is actually supposed to be a meadow.
And then a buffalo by the road gave him quite a fright.
He was much more comfortable around the friendly local elk.
...and sippin on cokes with aunts Tanya and Jessica
Uncle Bottoo was pretty into the nintendos

Bears thought that Castle geyser was great fun to nap to.
Hanging out with the local bears
Checking out some hot springs

Lookin at waterfalls
Apparently I'm really embarrassing in this picture.
Surface of the moon
checkin out thermal features
playin in the dirt
The end!

  1. Looks like a fun adventure. I really like the one where he is playing in the dirt. That sippy cup holder lease thing is really cool too!

  2. I like the be bear aware food storage sign. Very fitting. He totally does look embarrassed by you in that picture. Looks like it was really fun.
